Easy To Fit Complete Automatic Transmission Temp Gauge Kit

It has taken a while but we have put together what we consider to be the best transmission oil temperature gauge kit that we could put together. It was difficult to find a good quality gauge that had the right temperature range that we were looking for and that we could use together with our sender unit that is taped into the transmissions cooler union instead of any drilling, bronzing or welding into the sump of the transmission.
We also found it difficult to find a sender unit that had the means to be easily fitted to our cooler unions with out any fuss to the customer. So we give you the cooler union with the sender unit already attached as part of the kit. It is very important to fit the sender into the transmissions out going cooler union that the oil uses when leaving the transmission on it's way towards the oil cooler and we needed to measure the temperature before it was cooled and not after. There are 2 good reasons for this. 1st/ Is that we want to measure the oil temperature at it's hottest point and that is as it is leaving the transmission and 2nd/ there's no use measuring the temperature in the sump after the pre cooled oil has mixed with the oil in the sump as this will tell you what you were doing 3 minutes ago and not instantly like the outgoing cooler union will do.
It comes with a full surround tilting mount and complete wiring loom that has been fitted up to the gauge. We have even gone to the trouble to use hi temperature wiring as part of the loom with a small heat shield as part of the temperatures senders electrical terminal. The gauges light is also tinted to match the dash lights and comes on as part of the dash lights. You have the choice of either a Celsius or Fahrenheit read out on the gauge and fits all Toyota Land Cruisers, Nissan Patrols and also all other passenger vehicles.
