A transmission company that sells Methanol, That's Right, Wholesale Automatic Transmissions first got involved in Methanol sales in 1993 when a sudden price rise found hundreds of Motorsports teams wondering about their future, our own race teams included. After several weeks of discussion with some of the Methanol giants we had not only managed to halve the retail cost of methanol but somehow managed to walk away with a contract to supply Methanol to the motor industry as a whole. This would help us achieve two things, first it would allow us to play a large roll in indicating to the industry what the realistic wholesale and retail methanol pricing should be and second we would be able to prove to the industry that with some marketing in the right areas it was possible to sell five times as much Methanol rather than raising wholesale and retail prices to make up for poor sales figures.

We started out with 12 tons of total sales within Victoria in 1993 and over the past 8 years built that figure up to 70 tons per annum with major retail outlets in Victoria, N.S.W and Tasmania, sales to other states can be made by ringing 03 97628004. More retail outlets will be added as new distributors are found for each state. One of the best things to come out of these sales  figures is the fact that in all the time that we have been selling Methanol we have never had a single complaint about the CSR Methanol product that we sell ( Not bad considering that most of our Methanol is sold to the Motorsports industry ).

The results of our CSR Methanol product are overwhelming and speak for themselves. There is no way that I am going to sit here and list ALL of the outstanding achievements that have been made while using our product but I will tell you this, We are very proud of both the individuals and teams that over the years have made the CSR brand name possibly the most respected and trusted Methanol product by bringing home Australian Championships, State Championships, Club Championships, Class Championships, Dozens of Feature Wins and I have absolutely no idea on how many heat wins. You just can't go around claiming to be the number one product if you haven't had the results both on and off the track. 8 years of championship wins together with absolutely no complaints or product returns, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't know of another company that has been able to sustain such a perfect track record for so long.

Biodiesel is fast becoming another product of the future with fuel prices escalating and the sudden appearance of some very switched on people that have started mixing their own Biodiesel to use in their own cars and trucks replacing the need for diesel fuel. Biodiesel results from the reaction of fatty acids ( fats and oils ) with an alcohol ( commonly Methanol ) and a catalyst ( potassium hydroxide ). This process removes the glycerin from the fatty acid, thus reducing the viscosity of the oil giving it very similar properties to fossil diesel fuel.
